The capital greets you with grand boulevards, Soviet-era architecture, and a powerful blend of modern development and centuries-old heritage. After checking into your hotel, the remainder of the day is reserved for rest and adjustment, allowing you to transition smoothly into the atmosphere of Russia’s most iconic capital.
After breakfast, you embark on a guided exploration of Moscow’s historic heart. You walk through Red Square, gaze at St. Basil’s Cathedral’s candy-coloured domes, and step inside the Kremlin complex. Later, you descend into the Moscow Metro, often called the “people’s palace,” where chandeliers, mosaics, and marble halls turn everyday travel into an art experience. The evening is free to absorb the capital’s imperial energy.
Following breakfast and check-out, you transfer to the railway station for a high-speed train journey to Saint Petersburg. The ride offers scenic countryside views of forests, rivers, and rural Russia. Upon arrival, a local representative greets you for a guided orientation of Peter the Great’s imperial capital. You visit the Russian Vodka Museum, learning about cultural traditions, before driving past European-style architecture, canals, and bridges. You then check into your hotel for an evening of relaxation.
After breakfast, you proceed for a unique Russian Army Experience, which includes a tank ride and AK-47 shooting under expert supervision. This offers deep insight into the nation’s military heritage. You then continue to the Hermitage Museum, one of the world’s largest art museums, housing masterpieces inside the Winter Palace complex. A visit to Kazan Cathedral follows, an architectural landmark inspired by Roman design and tied to Russian Orthodox traditions. The day leaves you with a vivid understanding of Saint Petersburg as a symbol of art, history, and military pride.
After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for your flight to Murmansk, one of the largest cities within the Arctic Circle. Upon arrival, an orientation tour covers key landmarks: the Church "Savior on the Waters", the Kursk Memorial Complex, the Lighthouse Observation Deck, the Monument to Defenders of the Arctic, and the emotional Monument "Waiting". You stop at the Seaport area for a photo of the legendary Lenin Icebreaker, the world’s first nuclear-powered icebreaker. You then experience husky riding in Arctic surroundings before setting out on a professional-guided Northern Lights hunting excursion, understanding that the Aurora depends entirely on natural weather and solar activity.
