Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private tour guide and driver. The journey into the heart of Hanoi begins with a city tour that introduces you to the nation's rich history. Visit the significant Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the revered Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, and the historic Ba Dinh Square. You will then delve into the somber history of the Hoa Lo Prison, famously known as the "Hanoi Hilton." To experience the city's lively spirit, you'll enjoy a buggy cart ride around the charming Hanoi Old Quarter and the serene Hoan Kiem Lake, followed by a visit to the unique Train Street where you can enjoy a complimentary drink. The day concludes with leisure time for shopping in the Old Quarter before an evening of cultural entertainment at a traditional water puppet show. Lunch and dinner are savored at an Indian restaurant before you return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Hanoi.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up for a scenic drive to Tuan Chau Harbor, the gateway to Halong Bay. Here, you will board your day cruise for a 5- to 6-hour journey through this world-famous seascape. As you enjoy a buffet lunch on board, you will sail past thousands of uninhabited islets and towering limestone outcrops, each with imaginative names based on their perceived shapes. Your exploration begins with a visit to the magnificent Surprising Cave, where you'll be amazed by the extraordinary stalactites and stalagmites. Next, you will stop at Titop Island, offering a chance to relax on its sandy beach or climb to the peak for a panoramic, paradise-like view of the bay. Continue your adventure with a kayaking or bamboo boat excursion at Luon Cave, navigating through the beautiful, tranquil lagoon. On your return to the harbor, enjoy a sunset party on the deck with tea and cakes, soaking in the world-iconic scenery. Your guide and driver will then transfer you back to Hanoi for an overnight stay and dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Following breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a journey to Ninh Binh province, located approximately 120 km from Hanoi. Your first destination is Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Here, you will step into the 17th-century temples dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le, learning about the historical significance of this site and why the capital was eventually moved to Hanoi. The afternoon is dedicated to Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll embark on a captivating boat trip through a spectacular landscape of towering limestone karsts and a network of tunnel caves. As you drift along the green river, you will pass through caves with evocative names such as Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dark Cave), and Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine Cave), which was famously used as a filming location for the movie "Skull Island." After this immersive experience, you will return to the wharf and board the bus back to Hanoi for dinner and another overnight stay at your hotel.

On your final day, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before visiting the historic Hoa Lo Prison once more. You will then head to Bat Trang Pottery Village, a renowned craft village, to witness the creation of beautiful ceramics. The remainder of your morning is free for some last-minute shopping at the modern AEON Mall. After a final lunch at an Indian restaurant, your guide and driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of a memorable tour of Northern Vietnam.
