Itinerary

Upon landing in the magnificent and lovely town of Leh, our representative welcomes you with a beverage and escorts you to the hotel. Check in and unwind for a while, adjusting yourself to the atmosphere and the higher altitudes. The day is all yours to visit the streets close by, taking in the panoramic view of the Ladakhi landscape as the snow-clad peaks of the Himalayas leave you in awe. Return to the hotel for a rich supper and an overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast, gear up for a new day with a drive to Alchi, a town in the Leh area. Visit the Magnetic Hill (Cyclops Hill), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Confluence of the Zanskar and the Indus River. Next, visit the Alchi Monastery (Alchi Gompa) and the Ladakh Hall of Fame, built to pay tribute to the extraordinary soldiers for their affliction. Return to the hotel for a scrumptious supper and unwind.

Gear up for an astounding day and check out of the hotel. The day begins with a drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, the most elevated motorable road in the world. Known as ldumra, the valley of blooms, Nubra lies in the north of Ladakh. Upon arrival, check in at the camp or hotel in Hunder for an overnight stay. At night, take a casual walk around the towns to learn how local people live in this part of the world, then return to camp for a pleasant supper and a good night's sleep.

After eating, check out of the camp and drive to Hunder, with remarkable views of the hills and beautiful mountain ranges on the opposite sides of the road making the voyage increasingly splendid. Enjoy a mind-blowing camel ride on the sand ridges, then visit the roads of Diskit, a monastery known for the tallest statue of Maitreya Buddha, and get to know the people living there. Return to Leh via Khardung La Pass, check in to the hotel, and explore the streets for souvenirs before supper and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave for Pangong Lake. Visit the Thiksey Monastery and attend the morning Pooja. While passing through Chang La Pass, the universe's third most elevated motorable street, you will likely observe monks performing their rituals — a beautiful area with stunning backdrops, ideal for photography. Travel via Tangtse for a coffee break, drive through Changthang, and reach Pangong Lake, scintillating amidst the valleys. Visit Sindhu Ghat and Hemis Monastery, then check in to the hotel for supper and an overnight stay in Pangong.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head towards Tso Moriri, stopping en route at Tsala Chushu. Resume your adventure toward the lake, situated at a higher elevation close to the Rupshu Valley, surrounded by a vast assortment of wildlife and chirping birds. Visit Chushul Village and the Meerak Monastery, then check in to the hotel for a delicious dinner and a nice rest.

After appreciating a delectable breakfast, travel to the valuable shimmering waters of Tsokar Lake. Drive towards Leh via Tanglang La Pass, the second most elevated motorable road in the world. Check in to the hotel, where supper will be served, after which you can rest.
