Upon your arrival on the sun-drenched French Riviera, you'll be warmly transferred to your hotel, where the remainder of the day is yours to relax and settle in. As evening approaches, you'll receive important information about your upcoming adventures, either directly from our team or through the information board located at the hotel reception—setting the stage for the magnificent journey ahead.
After a delightful breakfast, your exploration of the Côte d'Azur begins with a panoramic coach tour of Nice, the region's elegant capital. You'll glide along the legendary Promenade des Anglais, soaking in breathtaking coastal views, before passing through the vibrant Massena Square and the charming old port. Continuing south, you'll arrive in the picturesque seaside town of Sainte-Maxime, where a stroll through its historic center reveals the 16th-century "Square Tower" overlooking the port. From here, you'll board a scenic boat to cross the glittering bay, arriving in Saint-Tropez—where the old fishing port now dazzles with some of the world's most luxurious yachts. After leisure time for lunch and exploration, your journey continues to Marseille, France's second-largest city, where the lively "Vieux Port" (Old Port) awaits with its authentic Mediterranean energy.
Today unveils some of Provence's most beautiful treasures. In Arles, a UNESCO World Heritage city, you'll wander through Roman and medieval streets that once inspired Van Gogh. Next, the medieval village of Les Baux invites you to experience the extraordinary Carrières de Lumières—an immersive underground show where art, image, and sound come alive within ancient quarries. After time for lunch, you'll explore Avignon, home to the monumental Palais des Papes, before journeying to Lyon. Here, you'll stroll through the UNESCO-listed old town and ascend by cable car to Notre-Dame de Fourvière, where the magnificent basilica offers sweeping views over this gastronomic capital. (Note: If tickets for Carrières de Lumières are unavailable due to closure or high demand, we will visit the Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard instead.)
Departing Lyon, you'll venture into the renowned Burgundy region. Your first stop is Tournus, a quaint town whose imposing stone gate and grand abbey speak of its medieval heritage. Continuing to Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy, you'll have time for lunch and independent exploration—perhaps visiting the wine museum or the historic hospice. The afternoon brings a visit to the magnificent Savigny Castle, a 15th-century fortress nestled in the heart of winemaking country, now home to extraordinary museums featuring vintage motorbikes, racing cars, planes, and helicopters. Your journey culminates in Dijon, Burgundy's lively capital, where medieval and Renaissance buildings—including the impressive Palace of the Dukes—line vibrant streets.
Leaving Dijon behind, you'll travel to Fontenay Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and masterpiece of Cistercian architecture, where admission is included to explore this tranquil spiritual haven. Continuing through Burgundy's rolling landscapes, you'll stop in Semur-en-Auxois, a medieval city encircled by formidable ancient walls. The journey continues to Vézelay, one of France's most beautiful villages, where the immense basilica served as a starting point for pilgrims on the Way of St. James. After time for lunch and a leisurely stroll, you'll journey onward to Paris, arriving in the evening as the City of Light begins to glow.
Today begins with an immersion into France's royal history at the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), where the stunning gardens and opulent halls reflect the grandeur of the Sun King. Returning to Paris, you'll discover the charming bohemian neighborhood of Montmartre, famous for its artists, painters, and legendary cabarets. To fully appreciate the sweep of this iconic city, you'll embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing Paris's grand avenues and world-famous monuments before returning to your hotel.
Your day begins in central Paris with a visit to the world's most famous landmark—the Eiffel Tower. With tickets included, you'll ascend to the second floor of this iconic iron structure, where breathtaking views stretch across the city. Afterwards, a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine River awaits, lasting approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, offering a unique perspective on Paris's riverside treasures. The afternoon is yours to explore independently—whether visiting museums, shopping, or simply soaking in the Parisian atmosphere (note: transfer back to the hotel is not included). (Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, the visit may be rescheduled to a different time or moved to Sunday for your convenience.)
