Itinerary
Your journey begins as you board your international flight to China and land at the Beijing Capital International Airport. An English-speaking airport representative will warmly welcome you upon arrival and manage your direct transfer to the hotel so you can unwind. The rest of the day is entirely yours to rest, shake off any jet lag, and explore the surroundings at your own leisure.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will head to the center of the city to stand in Tian'anmen Square, recognized as the largest public square in the world. From there, step directly into the sprawling Forbidden City, the majestic imperial palace complex from which Ming and Qing dynasty emperors ruled China for over five centuries. Following a fascinating cultural visit to a local pearl shop, you will spend your afternoon exploring the Summer Palace, the country's grandest preserved imperial garden, where you can marvel at the historic Marble Boat and the intricately painted Long Corridor before wrapping up the day with a warm Indian dinner and an optional Acrobatic Show.
Start your morning with breakfast and a cultural visit to the Longdi Jade shop to learn the rich history behind Chinese jade carving before heading out to hike the fabled Juyong Pass section of the Great Wall. After enjoying a traditional Chinese lunch near this UNESCO World Heritage masterpiece, you will make your way back toward the city to admire the striking modern architecture of the Olympic National Stadium, known as the Bird's Nest, and the Water Cube from the outside. After receiving a packed Indian dinner box, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your domestic flight or 6-hour high-speed train journey to Shanghai, where a local guide will meet you and transfer you directly to your hotel.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel before departing at 10:00 AM to dive into the energy of Shanghai, starting with a visit to the expansive People's Square and the bustling shops along Nanjing Road. Next, explore a traditional silk shop before taking an outside look at the beautiful old Yuyuan Garden, famous for its nine zig-zag bridge and golden fish pond. Spend some time browsing the lively stalls at Yu Market, catch spectacular evening views of the historic Bund along the waterfront, or elevate your day by choosing optional excursions like the Jinmao Tower 88th-floor observation deck or a Huangpu River Cruise before sit-down Indian dining at a local restaurant.
Savor your final breakfast at the hotel and make the most of a free morning for last-minute leisure, packing, and independent exploration. You will check out of your room before 12:00 PM for your final transfer to Pudong Airport to board your international flight back to India. To add one final thrill to your journey, you have the option to experience high-speed travel first-hand by booking a one-way ride on the famous Maglev Train on your way to the airport.
