The route ascends through the mystic town of Gedu, high above the sea, and offers stops at Kharbondi Gumpha, the cascading Wankha waterfalls, and the stunning confluence of two rivers at Chojum. Upon reaching the capital, you will check into your hotel and enjoy an evening exploring the city, with visits to the serene Shiv Temple, the National Painting School, and the majestic Tashichhi Dzong.

Your day begins with a tour of Thimphu's most iconic landmarks, including the colossal Kuensel Phodrang Buddha statue, the sacred National Memorial Chorten, and the unique Takin Reserve.
